Venue Facilities

The conference will be taking place at the Flamingo Grand Hotel. Located on the coast of the Black Sea in Varna, Bulgaria, this venue, only 25 kilometers from the Varna Airport, is found in the beautiful Albena resort. Less than 200 meters from the beach, this hotel offers free internet access to all registered attendees in their rooms, a retreat-like environment in one of the best-known resort beaches in Eastern Europe, state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment, Bulgarian and Mediterranean meals prepared in-house, free parking, and an airport shuttle service to the hotel available for all attendees according to their arriving and departing schedule.


All sessions will be held in the main conference room which is designed to comfortably seat 250 seminar attendees. In addition, the venue also features two additional meeting rooms, each with 40-60 seats. In addition to the constant presence of hotel staff experienced with the equipment, on-site staff members of the Local Organizing Committee will provide all-day technical services and support for oral presentations.

Child and Family Care

Although we will not directly provide child care services, attendees are welcome to have guests (including spouses, children, and babysitters) accompanying them to the conference provided they cover their  own expenses. There is a babysitting service at the hotel where with at least 12 hours notice the hotel can arrange an individual  sitter for a family. We will also have lists of local licensed daycare centers. Costs for childcare are borne by each family. Each attendee is also encouraged to contact us with any special needs that they may have.

Conference registration materials will contain a questionnaire that will allow participants with disabilities to voluntarily identify any special needs, so that conference organizers can accommodate for these needs. We are committed to underwriting the cost of door to door or any other special services that will accommodate most disabilities

Common areas are accessible. Parking places for people with disabilities are available at all levels of parking and are all located close to entrances or elevators. Automatic doors are also installed for entrance into the facilities for those who require assistance walking through the use of wheelchairs and other methods. The reception desk also contains a lower section for servicing people with wheelchairs.


Bathrooms for people with disabilities are also available. These bathrooms are wheelchair-accessible and are located both in the reception area and the same level as the conference hall.


The Grand Hall Amphitheater can be accessed using elevators close to the hall. Visitors with disabilities may also be accommodated with rooms on the same floor as the hall. Entrances into the hall are flat and accessible.


The coffee break area and all conference rooms are on the same level as the Grand Hall; visitors with disabilities will not need to travel to another floor.
